We're excited to announce that Kose now fully supports Paynow, Zimbabwe's leading payment gateway. This means you can pay for your rides using EcoCash, OneMoney, or direct bank transfer — no cash required.
Zimbabwe has one of the highest mobile money adoption rates in Africa. Over 80% of financial transactions in the country happen through mobile money. By integrating Paynow, we're meeting riders where they already are — on their phones, using the payment methods they trust.
When you book a ride, simply select "Paynow" as your payment method. After your trip, you'll receive a payment prompt on your EcoCash or OneMoney. Confirm the payment and you're done. No need to carry exact change, no awkward negotiations — just a smooth, digital transaction.
Drivers receive their earnings directly to their preferred mobile money account or bank account. Payouts are processed regularly, and you can track all your earnings and payment history in the Kose Driver app.
All Paynow transactions are encrypted and processed through Zimbabwe's official payment infrastructure. You'll receive a receipt for every transaction, and both riders and drivers can view their complete payment history in the app.
